Zbynìk Buĝival was born in November 1981 in the Brno city, Czech republic. Since teenage he was interested
in science and photography, which later resulted in studying chemistry and geology at Masaryk University in Brno. He graduated
in mineralogy and geochemistry in 2007. He was extensively using digital cameras since the digital cameras became largely available.
His major topics are nature and travel photography together with narrow specialisation in mineral photography. He did publish his pictures
in several czech, slovak and dutch magazines, newspapers, calendars and websites. He is currently working as a geologist altogether with
